About the photographer

Hey there! I'm Jessica Beck, the owner and only photographer here at Shining Light Photography. I appreciate you stopping by to see what I'm all about! :)

I am an on-location professional photographer in the Clearwater, FL area, but do travel outside of the area. I specialize in family, children, and couples photography. I have been in business since December 2012, and am loving every minute of it. I am self-taught and still learning, I learn something new every time I pick up my camera. In high school I was interested in attending The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for photography but life threw me a few curve balls, and I finally had the opportunity to enter the photography world 3 years later.



I am married to the wonderful man in the photo above who is a Marine Technician {meaning he works on boats}, and we have a truly handsome son together (born in 10/12) and, not pictured, we have a black lab named Coal (04/11) who we like to call our little moose because he is so HUGE! :)

My goals for my 2nd year of business are to perfect my editing, and work on light placement outdoors, as well as spending time giving back by photographing those adorable animals searching for their FURever homes at the local animal shelter.
